Change in the Air

Change is a funny thing.  Some people thrive off of it and others totally despise it.  I love change.  Change is good for your soul and makes you wake up and remember what you love.  You find out who you are every time something changes.  You refine yourself into something more of what you want to become.  Change has been happening in my life recently and i love it.  I'm very lucky.  It has been changing for the better.  Meeting new people, trying new things, being in new places, and overcoming fears. 

Ah, man life has just been absolutely great.  Went to California for Spring Break with some friends.  Car died 5 miles from the hotel and the beach was freezing cold BUT got sun and a nice break from school. 
An Adventure.  

Went to Vegas with a bunch of people I didn't know. Sketchy, maybe?  Most amazing weekend of my life?  Most definitely.  Made some amazing friends that I visit often and lived without a care in the world for a couple days.

Went to A Day to Remember Concert with the boys above. That was an awesome experience.  Crazy as anything and insanely fun!  Got some bruises from how rough the concert was BUT the boys protected me and I had an awesome time.  An experience I will never forget.
A Crazy Adventure.

Summer is finally here and school is done for three short months.  I already tried overcoming a fear... Roller coasters.  They literally terrify me.  It's a heights thing.  First day of summer I moved all my stuff into a new apartment and got dragged to Lagoon with some friends.  Scary as all anything BUT had so much fun with friends who I love dearly.
A Scary Adventure.

Life is changing everyday.  People change, jobs change, where you live changes.  You change.  And its amazing to watch.  Love it and soak up every bit of it.  Because one day you'll look back and wish you could relive it.  Embrace change.  Have adventures that you would not normally take.  Do crazy things, change your own life.  Make it what you want it to be.  And just wait...and watch your future unfold.

Perspective

The way you see your life is all about perspective.  How you make a certain situation a good or bad one, it's all up to you.  Looking at the glass half full.  Perspective.  Life has a way of throwing things at you and its your decision to either let it swallow you or throw it right back.

I have learned recently that if you throw it right back and show life that no matter how hard it can get, you can make the best of it, and you will be so much happier.  I have been seriously so happy lately and I would have never guessed that I would be this happy after something unexpected happened.  Life threw me a huge curve ball that blindsided me and because of it I am so unbelievably happy.  How?  Perspective.  I decided to look at it in a positive way and not let it swallow me whole.  Looking at it as a blessing in disguise instead, best decision I could have made. 

You are in charge of your own happiness.  You can control that.  It's all up to you and your perspective.

Pieces of the Heart



Love changes you.  That tingling in your toes, butterflies in your stomach kind of love.  Everyone feels it in their life.  Sometimes you are lucky enough to feel it more than once in a lifetime.  That is a special kind of love.  There are different kinds of love.  Everyone affects you in some way and changes your life somehow. 
Falling in love with people is an easy thing to do.  I admit, it happened to me.  I have also fell in love with bits and pieces of people, like the quote above says.  Many people can steal little pieces of your heart, you just have to let them.

Hopeful and Determined

I guess today was supposed to be the end of the world according to the Mayans.  Well folks, we are still here!  Now I'm really going to laugh when we all die tomorrow instead and the Mayans are off by one day haha.  It's not the end of the world yet so I'll live my life with what I have left!  You never know how long you have so why not make those years great?  What do I want to be in 5 years?  I want to be happy.  Happy with life, happy in love, happy with whatever I have accomplished, and happy with myself.  I am happy with my life right now and I want to stay that way.  Happiness is a choice and that decision is all up to you.  You make your life and make it how you want it to be.  Unfortunate things happen unexpectedly but don't let that determine how your life is going to be.  Learn from those experiences.  If you don't like the way your life is, change it.  May not be easy, but it will be what you want.  This is your life, so make it how you want it to be.  What do you want to be in 5 years?

Old Faces

Went to my old dance studio the other day with one of my old dance partners.  We went to visit all the people that we danced with years ago.  Me and Harry went to Susan Chambers School of Dance to see them but when we got there, there was only 1 of them there.  Oh well haha we wanted it to be a surprise and by us not telling them, they didn't come haha Oh well we still got to see Wren!  It was wired being back there cause I haven't been there in 2 years.  I miss dancing all the time so it felt good to be in that environment again.

Later on that night I met up with some guys I used to work with.  I worked at Little Caesars when I was a Sophomore in High School and worked there for 2 dreaded years with these guys.  I haven't seen most of them in 2 years.  I left for College outside of Georgia and they stayed there.  We all went out for dinner at the Avenues to catch up and talk about all the ridiculous times at Lil C's.  It was a good time with those boys who I haven't seen in forever.

The Last Thing

Life is a very precious thing.  You never know when your last day is and how much more time you have.  What will be the last thing you will say to the people you love?  Our Nation has been affected by the Elementary school shooting in Connecticut.  20 children and 6 teachers died from this awful tragedy.  It's so sad that we live in a world with such evil.  Children should never feel like they are unsafe or in harms way and especially in an Elementary school.  Our hearts and prayers go out to those children and their families who were affected by this awful tragedy.  Like I said before, Life is a precious thing.  Don't take it for granted.  Always tell the people that you love how you feel because you never know what the last thing they hear from you will be.

Victory

Utah State won the big bowl game!!  We are all very happy campers.  My daddy and I watched it on T.V while "The Crew" was actually there.  They drove to Boise to go to the smurf turf for the Potato Bowl. 
We, meaning The Crew, are die hard Utah State fans.  We are at every game whether it be a football game or basketball game.  We are there on the front row and we love cheering on our Aggies!

We camped out so we could get into the game earlier...12 people in a tiny small tent, SO MUCH FUN!
Then we rushed the field after the most intense game that went into overtime. Such a good game!

The season is over and our boys did awesome!!  Even though I wasn't there for the big bowl game I'm glad "The Crew" was to cheer on our boys to victory!
